I thought a weekly blog page would be the best way to get to know me better and keep up with all the activity and growth that is to come.

Poetry Updates: 

Last week I got the honor of participating at the "MADE IN MATCHA" event in Santa Ana, CA. This event featured so many talented people. Including jewelers, potters, poets (myself), and vintage clothing curators. 

​

At this event I offered something I had never done before, In person, live poetry writings. I was overwhelmed by the positive response. I wrote over 20 custom poems, saw tears fall from the receivers eyes, and gave many hugs. It was truly a memorable event. I also was able to sell my premade poem cards, "abandoned home" seemed to be the one that everyone was reaching for. This poem was hard to write and made me reflect on various accounts of love that I have experienced. I will feature it below for your convivence.

Painting Updates:

I recently finished a piece that i had began production on in 2021. "Intertwined" this time on a 48x48 canvas. I submitted it to a few galleries and we wait on their response. Keeping a positive mindset but staying calm for any conclusion. Its been a while since I've submitted to a gallery and I forgot how nerve wracking it truly is.

Photography Updates:

I intend to hit the coast this weekend and blow the dust off of my camera body. I'm looking for vibrant and cool tones, its a mood I'm in recently and have been seeking it in everything. Lets hope I'm back next week with a positive result.
